Abstract

This study aims at realizing the significance of technical supervision of mathematics subject. and determining the problems that confront it. and proposing solutions for those problems. For achieving the goals of the study, the two researchers followed the descriptive analytical method. and they used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The purposeful sample was done comprised of male and female teachers who participated in making the Maths subject for secondary certificate of the year ۲۰۱۲ and for processing data statistically where there is arithmetic means for very item of the questionnaire. in addition to collecting the viewpoints of the mission teachers. concerning the third core of the questionnaire.
The research achieved some findings, the most important ones are the following the significance of the technical supervision of the Mathematics subject involves the facts that it supports teachers to understand the goals of the Mathematics subject. It also helps teacher to put plans for attaining the Maths goals. It leads to discovering weak points of the teacher's performance and handle solutions. It provides teacher with opportunity of vocational development. It betters the learning situation and supports in the implementation and continuous field monitoring of the educational plans and the problems of Mathematics subject supervision involves the following: variation of supervisors procedures. negative attitudes towards supervision. lack of providing means of transportation for supervisors; shortage of training courses for supervisors. lack of implementing training courses teachers to improve their performance.
