الواجهات المستدامة في مباني ولاية الخرطوم
Abstract
Elevations are exterior covers of building and the apparent element for the public in the urban environment. The research examines the evolution of the architecture in SUDAN, the concept of the elevation and how we can preserve it, through treatment that help to creat the internal human environment. Research also addresses the concept of sustainability, resons for asylum for sustainable solutions and basic principles of sustainability.
The research also addresses the types and techniques of modern materials to choose the strong, beautiful material suitable for the building elevations. Also the element that affect the quality of the environment outside the building and how we can find the right soluotions for it, by taking advantage of natural lighting , ventilations.
Finally the research examines the climate study capital Khartoum, Khartoum Bahri study cases were analysed through the analytical descriptive curriculum, and finding and recommendations were reached. How can we achieve sustainability in the elevations by reducing the environmental impact on the elevations through appropriate guidance for the building and the addition of natural elements out side the building, for the buildings lake of temperature expouser, external soil and finally the selection of matrials suited to the conditions of capital Khartoum. The research shows some findings and recommendations to reach a beautiful, strong and sustainable elevation that provides thermal comfort to the intrior environment within the building.
We advice designers to take advantage of sunlight-prone interfaces in power generations and to guide the building well, to control solar radiation, take advantage of natural ventilation and achieve transparency in the interfaces. The elevation must be designed after agood study of climatic factor, solar radiation control to provide the best soultions and thermal comfort.
