Teachers' Professional Requirements to teach Thinking skills to Basic stage Pupils in Rabak Town

The research aimed to identify the teachers' professional requirements to teach thinking skills, the two researchers used descriptive analytical method and Questionnaire as research- tool. The research – population consisted of basic stage teachers in Rabak town and randomly selected (81) teachers as research sample. The two researchers used chi square to analyze the data. The most important results are: Continuous training to teachers in teaching thinking skills and using of effective modern teaching strategies, besides, the important activities to activate teaching thinking skills are discussion group, role playing. The important recommendation is effectively teaching students personal skills.
