Abstract

This paper, titled "The Artistic Construction of the Andalusian Poem,"
is presented in three axes. The first axis deals with the artistic image as a
modern critical term and the critical terms that came from the ancients with
meanings that meet with the artistic image, such as representation,
photography, weaving, and the like, because the artistic image represents one
of the pillars of the artistic construction of poetry. The second axis talks about
the connotations of words in Andalusian poetry and their reference, and the
third axis is about structures and their connotations. The importance of this
paper comes from the fact that it examines the literature of a bright page of
the pages of Islamic history that inhabited Europe for eight centuries. The
importance of the paper also lies in its tracing of the historical development
of the term artistic image and its application to Andalusian literature. The
paper concluded that the factors that shaped the artistic construction of the
Andalusian poem are due to the Andalusian environment, its nature, and its
population structure, and to the Andalusians' influence by the Levant and
their imitation of the Levantines, as it also concluded that the Andalusian
literature is sophisticated and the artistic construction of the Andalusian poem
is of high quality.
