Abstract

The aim of the research is to know higher education policies and their impact on graduate unemployment in Sudan, and the problem lies in the incompatibility and harmonization between higher education policies and the requirements of the labor market and its impact on the unemployment rate of graduates in Sudan, and also to know the extent of the labor market capacity in Sudan to absorb graduates, and clarify Correspondence between the outputs of higher education from educated human cadres and between the market needs of these cadres and the opportunities available in labor market. the The research relied on the descriptive analytical standard approach to describe and analyze the data of the research variables. The most important results of the research findings: There is an inverse relationship between graduate unemployment and the expansion of higher education institutions by achieving the quality of outputs required by the internal and external labor market in a way that reduces the severity of unemployment. There is an inverse relationship between graduate unemployment and the level of wages so that increasing wages leads to an increase The percentage of graduates absorption and their involvement in the work and thus reduces the unemployment of graduates, there is a direct relationship between the unemployment of graduates and the registered graduates, because the increase in the number of graduates and registration and the rate of absorption at work is weak, leading to an increase in graduate unemployment. The most important recommendations: Linking the outputs of higher education to the market requirements and increasing the volume of employment in the private sector through increasing investments in order to increase employment opportunities for graduates and training and qualification of graduates in the field of self-employment.
